43Things setup?

Does anybody know what 43Things’ setup is like? Number of boxes,
technologies used, etc. I’m just curious – I just started using it and
it seems like it has a ton of users, pages, features, queries, and more.
It always seems pretty responsive, but I did get ‘500’ errors one time
for about half-an-hour late at night.

Thanks!

I was rather surprised to see that they use WEBrick to serve images.
Slightly less so with Apache/mod_fastcgi. I always thought that Webrick
and Rails through cgi was notoriously slow.
