2channel USRP2 with Ext RF frontend

Hi all,

is not clear for me if using a single USRP2 with 2 external RF
downconverters is possible to obtain the IQ samples from two channels.
From
the FAQ seems that should be possible using the BasicRX with the 2 RF
front-ends connected to the two BasicRx RF input.
Can someone help me to clarify this issue ?

You can use 2 downconverters if they downconvert to an IF, since there
are 2 ADCs. If they downconvert to complex baseband (IQ) then you would
need 4 ADCs and you don’t have enough on the USRP2.
