0.6.5 Release? Timeline?

The radiant repositories have been quite busy, mostly attributed to Sean
Cribbs. Are we going to see a 0.6.5 release any time soon?

Thanks,

/aj

Yes, it will be soon.

We really intended 0.6.5 to come out in December, but with the release
of Rails 2.0.x, we felt it necessary to upgrade. Doing so required some
jumping through some hoops that Rails 1.x never imposed on us.

Also, we intend to have converted our whole Test::Unit suite over to
RSpec. This is a laborious process and not very interesting, so it’s
taking time. John has made some good progress on the controller specs,
so it shouldn’t be much longer.

After those tasks are complete, we also have a bunch of tickets to
address, either resolving or postponing them.

Unfortunately, I have been very busy with paying work and other
activities lately and haven’t had time to address a lot of this. Other
core members have been contributing when they can.

So, the moral of the story is, don’t worry, we’re getting there!

Thanks for the update, and the core team for their hard work!

Ditto that!
