Two urgent question

hi, i’ve these two question:
the first is about paginator, is good to use it or is it better
something else (about performance)?
the second is, because i can’t check tail -f dev.log for each page, is
there any method to show how many queries a pages has done? and maybe
also the loading time?
help :frowning:

thanks

Pagination works fine for speeding up queries that would otherwise
return lots and lots of data.

Nothing built into rails for this. Although you can do stuff like:

is not possible have something write directly in the view?
like: database queries: 15, loading time: 0.05432 sec
also with external plugins…if exists… i tried query stats, but it
doesn’t work, and i don’t know why… :frowning:
