Hi,
I’m currently learning and developing in Radrails. But it has a big
disadvantage, i would like to have the possibility to see the
declaration of a Class, Module in a onew way click.
Le’s say i’m at the code lob = MyClass.new , i want to see at a
click, double click …the file where MyClass is declared. All other
IDE’s do that.
Please help, thank U.
you can do this in Radrails
on the File Menu, click Window -> Show Perspective -> Other
in dialog, click Ruby Browsing -> Types
There are all your classes and their attributes and methods for your
entire project.
and the files…

You can give Komodo 4.0 a try. Good support for Ruby/Rails
(intellisense, debugging, etc.) Runs on all mainstream operating
systems.

Give RoRED a try too. I use RadRails and RoRED.

Erm, that should, have course, have been “Ruby In Steel”. I believe
Rails is someone else’s thing
Our Developer Edition of Ruby In Rails has Go To Definition (locates
classes, variables, methods etc.) plus a Ruby Explorer tool to let you
browse the class library in a tree-structured window.
best wishes
