[ANN] Deploying Rails google group

Hey all!

In case you missed this on my blog earlier ( http://rubyurl.com/j4D ).

A few of us decided that it would be a good idea to expand on some of
the deployment-related conversations in another mailing list. This would
be an ideal place to dig down into the other technologies (outside of
Rails) that are involved in successfully deploying Ruby on Rails
applications. From Nginx to Apache to PostgreSQL to Mongrel… to load
balancing… to clustering… I think you get the idea.

We invite any of you who are interested in asking and/or answering
questions related to deploying Rails applications.

Cheers,

Robby

Totally excellent! I did miss that. Thanks for letting us know. Your
timing couldn’t be better, for my purposes. I had the honor of posting
the
first question!

Best regards,
Bill

Finally!

Bill,

I’m glad to hear that. I’m also glad that we’ve already had 85
subscribers in just a small handful of hours. …just confirms our
suspicions that there were a lot of people who were trying to figure
this out for themselves and were in need of a community to discuss these
things in greater detail. Hopefully, this will be a useful way to take
some of the pain out of deploying with Rails.

Happy posting!
