Thanks! This looks awesome! But you have a typo in the title:

“Unofficial rubyonrails-talk List FAQ”

You need to take off the first two letters.

Regarding Question 20. and method? → You say it returns binary, is it
not
more correct to say that it returns a boolean?

I read this as well and took a double-take.

Binary, as in 2 responses, as in boolean.

Good work Faisal. thank you.

I would still prefer we tag the messages inside the google groups
interface - but your efforts will definitely help the needy.

I would suggest you petition to have link put in the email footer.

This is a terrific effort.

Are you taking input or commit-level contributors?

If this were sent to the list 2-4 times per day (with an easily
filterable subject)
the signal-to-noise ratio could be increased overnight!

Too much probability theory in my mis-spent youth – I’ve changed it
to boolean.

If I can beat my mail system into submission, I can get it to keep
copies of FAQ-tagged mail so that even if I mass-delete the list
mailbox that day (high traffic day, I’m busy, etc.) I still have a
reminder later to go look up that thread.

I would suggest you petition to have link put in the email footer.

Anyone know who I should be bugging?

At the moment, input is welcome and will eventually be acted on. At
some point I may put it somewhere with more collaborative editing,
but I currently have it in my private svn repo hooked up to my creaky
homespun single-user publishing system (featuring all the latest and
greatest technologies for 1995).

I’m hoping…

For what it’s worth, every question has an id so you can links to the
specific question. At some point I’ll even get around to moving the
ids from the bullet points to the titles (as links) so you don’t have
to view source to find them.
