Anyway, enough trolling, the answer was to ignore the crazyness that
is user_notify and plugin the the code that I already pointed out.
After that the mongrel cluster needed to be restarted.

The list activity is pretty low. Is this an active list?

It’s active :slight_smile: but most of the activity is going on, on the rails list.
