I was just looking at the download stats for the One-Click Ruby
Installer
for Windows and Instant Rails, and its obvious that something happened
the
week of March 19th.
Prior to the 19th the one-click installer averaged 10,000 downloads a
week,
and had been at the level for quite some time. But starting the week of
March 19th the downloads tripled to 30,000 a week where they have
remained
to this day.
Instant Rails also saw a jump in downloads the same week, but the
increase
for Instant Rails was only 50% and not the whopping 300% increase seen
by
the one-click installer.
Does anybody know what happened that week?
