Australian Ruby/Rails Web Host

Hey list

Just wandering if people can recommend a good Ruby/Rails web host in
Australia. I have had a look at hostcentral.net.au but they don’t do
auto credit card payments which is a bit annoying. They also havent
responded to a technical enquiry in over a week.

Hey Rebecca,

I host with RimuHosting and although they primarily run from US
datacentres, they also have space in the Brisbane AAPT/Connect
datacentre. You can check out the details at
Networks and Data Centers - RimuHosting - but I have been with
RimuHosting for a few months now and after being on a shared host it
is a great experience to have your own space to play and have it “your
way.”

If you don’t need the low pings (as in 230ms is ok with you) then the
US-based VPS that I have performs excellently. I’m in Brisbane, btw.
