Forum: Ruby on Rails It's all the same list: Gmane, Mailing List, Ruby Forum, Nab

Announcement (2017-05-07): www.ruby-forum.com is now read-only since I unfortunately do not have the time to support and maintain the forum any more. Please see rubyonrails.org/community and ruby-lang.org/en/community for other Rails- und Ruby-related community platforms.

Does anyone have any ideas how to stop people from posting multiple
times to this list?

It looks like there is a misunderstanding about the fact that there is
are gateways between the lists, so people are posting a questions to the
mailing list and then posting the identical question at ruby-forum,
nabble, etc.

The excess posts are one thing, but sometimes there are parallel
conversations going on in two threads, which is unproductive.

What about a DRY rule for asking questions?
