Just committed an update to HF Explorer 2 in
gnuradio-examples/python/apps/hf_explorer/hfx2.py
which implements synchronous AM detection. The
center frequency gets shifted to 7.5kHz in AM and
you can definitely hear when the PLL ‘locks’ onto
a carrier. Seems to work.
