Im working on a simple private Rails app, but I'm not much of a designer
and I'm struggling to get a nice layout.
So I was thinking of using this Theme Generator:

http://www.mattmccray.com/archives/2005/10/26/full...

Does anyone have any experience with this?

Is it working in the latest versions of Rails? (1.0)

Is it worthwhile even for a simple site, or is it too complex?

Does it allow me to download and use the Typo Themes from the contest as
normal rails web app themes?

double bump. I'm prepared to wait.
I really want to know if I'm going to be able to apply Typo themes to a
website with this thing.

You can do similar templates to typo but you will have to do a lot
of customizing to use typo templates in your app. Because the
templates are coded specifically to work with typos code base. So if
your app is not typo, your going to need to port the typo templates
to use with your app , which is no small feet. But you will be able
to do templates like typo does, they just need to be coded to your
apps code base.
