Hello,
Running apache 2.x with mod_fcgid as recommended. My question is there
seems to be no “per rails instance” configuration which is fine however
is
there a fix for this common issue of the “first request is always really
slow”. I am finding if nobody hits my site for a little while then the
first request hangs and then all is normal. Should i raise the timeout
for
killing processes ? I hope the answer is not to cron a wget every 5
minutes
but looking forward to some insight.
