I have the following problem, a legacy Oracle database
with partitioned indexes. Every single table has a
column that specifies the partition. So my current
thinking is to add a route section to the url that
specifies the partition (this also makes business
sense-- it’s the way URLs are currently formed). Next
make a modification to the ActiveRecord, and a lib
that for all selects, inserts and updates the
partition is set by this part of the route.
Ideas? Comments? Already been done by someone?
