DocDiff 0.3.3

DocDiff 0.3.3

DocDiff 0.3.3 was released in 2006-02-03 JST. This is basically a
maintainance release.

Summary

DocDiff compares two files and shows the difference. It can compare
files word by word, char by char, or line by line. It has several output
formats such as HTML, tty, Manued, or user-defined markup.

It supports several encodings and end-of-line characters, including
ASCII, UTF-8, EUC-JP, Shift_JIS, CR, LF, and CRLF.

What’s New

Notable new things from the last version:

  • Added DocDiff Web UI sample. (This is highly experimental and not
secure at all. Do not install it.)

  • Added screenshots to the document.

  • Support for non-normal files, such as device files and named
pipes. (zsh <() notation now works.)
