Missing Enum class (windows install)

Hey, mac died this week (launch is Monday), trying to deal by getting
Windows set up for development. I’ve got everything up and running,
but when I try to hit my app I get an “unitialized contstant Enum
error”. Sure enough, enum.rb doesn’t exist (according to windows
search) on the machine.

Now I’m trying to figure out how to fix this. I installed Ruby by
downloading the windows binary, followed by the Rails binary. I did
not install another copy when I installed cygwin to avoid confusion.

Anyone have similar problems with the windows install and know off the
top of your head the easiest way to go about fixing this? The whole
thing strikes me as really odd as I can’t imagine a distro without
Enum, but I’m stuck.

Thanks in advance,

FYI, I fixed this by installing ruby under cygwin and manually
installing
gems. Hope this helps someone down the line.
