Hi Ajay,

Im working on MDArray. MDArray is a multi-dimensional array similar to
NumPy. Ruby and JRuby lacks some good scientific libraries and MDArray
is
trying to fill this gap (please, look also onto NMatrix for a similar
project). MDArray is specifically targeted for JRuby as it uses Java
libraries. Im now working on making a wrapper of linear algebra
Parallel
Colt methods onto MDArray, which would make MDArray very strong for
mathematics. If you want to help, this would be great. Making wrappers
is
not too difficult and can be of great help to the Ruby community, and
for
all those that might think about migrating from Python NumPy to Ruby.
If
you have questions or want to help, please, let me know.

Cheers,

Rodrigo
