Hi, I would like to have a inkscape-compilation for Mac-MountainLion (10.8) Where can I get it, or when can I get it? What is it depending on, that it is made? Regards, Hago

I have downloaded the Inkscape DMG from http://inkscape.org/download/?lang=en and run it on OSX Mountain Lion. Take care to also install Apple'x X11 or Xquartz An alternative option is to use HOMEBREW, but i believe the people on this mailing list don't approve of that alternative.

Thank you, it worked. One week ago, when I installed exactly the same packages, it didn't work - and I don't know what I did different from now. Hago Am 18.07.2013, 10:15 Uhr, schrieb Maarten van der Velde <firstname.lastname@example.org>:

Someone previously posted a link to an OSX-native version of inkscape to this list, that doesn't need XWindows. I've been using that on Mountain Lion and it's been great not waiting for the XWindows/XQuartz startup every time I want to do something with SVG. If you scrape through the archives you can probably find that.. Cheers Daniel
