Hello everybody out there using Inkscape,

Is it possible to get the exact coordinates of a node handle and change
their numeric values?
One can of course zoom in and look at the coordinates of the mouse
cursor, but that's not perfectly precise.
I also found this thread in the forum
(http://www.inkscapeforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=295) but it doesn't
really contain a good answer.

Thanks in advance for your help,
Julia

The answer given there (the XML editor) is pretty much the best answer
there is. It's obviously not very user friendly, at least when using
very complex paths, but it does work. You can open the XML editor with
the path selected and basically just count out the nodes, or try by
trial and error which coordinates you need.
