Custom views for multiple sites

Has anyone used Rails to run multiple versions of the same site that
have different looks depending on which site you are on? What was
your approach to doing this?

It should be easy to have each site use its own layout, but I am
wondering how to make each site use its own views as well.

Productize (check the wiki) was made for this, and it works well. It
could use an update for 0.14.x versions of rails, though.

ıs there any info from the author about updating productize for 0.14? I
think that was a very nice piece of work.
