Changes with nginx 0.7.51 12 Apr
2009
*) Feature: the "try_files" directive supports a response code in
the
fallback parameter.
*) Feature: now any response code can be used in the "return"
directive.
*) Bugfix: the "error_page" directive made an external redirect
without
query string; the bug had appeared in 0.7.44.
*) Bugfix: if servers listened on several defined explicitly
addresses,
then virtual servers might not work; the bug had appeared in
0.7.39.

I do not know if it is a bug or a feature.
Version 0.7.51 compiles without any problems using the following config:
./configure $(CONFIGURE_OPTS)
–conf-path=/etc/nginx/nginx.conf
–error-log-path=/var/log/nginx/error.log
–pid-path=/var/run/nginx.pid
–lock-path=/var/lock/nginx.lock
–http-log-path=/var/log/nginx/access.log
–http-client-body-temp-path=/var/lib/nginx/body
–http-proxy-temp-path=/var/lib/nginx/proxy
–http-fastcgi-temp-path=/var/lib/nginx/fastcgi
–with-http_ssl_module
–without-http_limit_req_module
–without-mail_pop3_module
–without-mail_smtp_module
–without-mail_imap_module
Version 0.7.51 DOES NOT COMPILE if one adds the “–without-http-cache”
option (giving the errors that I am attaching bellow):
./configure $(CONFIGURE_OPTS)
–conf-path=/etc/nginx/nginx.conf
–error-log-path=/var/log/nginx/error.log
–pid-path=/var/run/nginx.pid
–lock-path=/var/lock/nginx.lock
–http-log-path=/var/log/nginx/access.log
–http-client-body-temp-path=/var/lib/nginx/body
–http-proxy-temp-path=/var/lib/nginx/proxy
–http-fastcgi-temp-path=/var/lib/nginx/fastcgi
–with-http_ssl_module
–without-http_limit_req_module
–without-mail_pop3_module
–without-mail_smtp_module
–without-mail_imap_module
–without-http-cache
