Hello,

I have been trying to integrate juggernaut chat plugin with
Community-engline and as rails decided to deprecate
add_variables_to_assigns method
in rails 2.2. They don't include this on the list of deprecated methods
so I
don't know how to find an alternative to this method. This method is
used by
the juggernaut plugin and I wanna try getting it to work with rails 2.2.
I
tried copying the source code of this method and
add_instance_variable_names
source to the application.rb file but now I'm getting NameError
(uninitialized class variable @@protected_view_variables in
ApplicationController). Does anyone know if there are any alternatives
to
these methods?

Following is the error

NameError (undefined local variable or method `add_variables_to_assigns'
for
#<ChatRoomsController:0xb7342530>):
