First…do not mock my ownership of a Vista laptop…I have various
excuses at the ready, haha.
Anyway, onto the real problem, I just downloaded the installation file
for shoes, from the shoes website, when I run the setup I tell it to
install in G:\Shoes which has plenty of free space, as soon as I click
install I get:
Error opening file for writing:
G:\Shoes\0.r1134\giflib4.dll
with the options to abort, retry or ignore. When I click ignore it
brings up the same error message but for iconv.dll, and then another dll
if I click ignore again, etc.
Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong?
