I need to export some data to an Excel file.
I'm using a xml view to do that.

But now, the file is too large, and taking almost 30 minutes to

Is there another way that I can do this ??

Whenever I've needed to export data for Excel, I've always exported a
file, since it's quite easy to create and easy for Excel to open. I've
FasterCSV to generate the CSV file.

You can try

There are two ways to produce an Excel file from your data. Ole and
Xml way.
I like Xml way more.

can help you more.
