The proper way to get will_paginate to work for newsletter_extension is...?

OK, so I have decided to drop the subscriber_list extension in favor of
the
newsletter extension, but the instructions for installing the newsletter
extension are a little out of date (svn instrux on a github managed
repo?).
Getting the extension loaded and migrated is no biggie, but it requires
the
will_paginate plugin/gem to work properly.

Can somebody tell me what magical incantation I need to put in my
environment.rb to get the 2.2.2 will_paginate gem working?

Radiant 0.6.9, Rails 2.1.1
