Newbie Rails/DB questions

I am new to rails, new to programming and am currently reading the
“Agile Web D. with Rails” book from Pragmatic. I was trying
to follow the book by entering in the depot demo and I got hung up
trying to create the tables for the DB on pg 54. So my question is.
Where can I go to find out what I am doing wrong? and Where is the
best place to ask questions regarding MySQL newbie questions on Rails?
