Hi,
We are just starting a RoR project and need to identify a reputable
hosting partner.
I see on the RoR web site that there are about a dozen different
companies, but I’m very interested in hearing from people that have used
hosting partners that are top-notch for LARGE web sites (both in terms
of user volume, transfer data volume, etc.).
I am looking at Speedy Rails and Engine Y., curious if anyone has
feedback on these two companies, or if they have other suggestions.

Blue Box Group (www.blueboxgrp.com)
Since I work for Blue Box Group, I guess I’m a bit partial, but I
know all 4 of those companies have experience handling large volume
rails sites.

allows you to compare many of the better known Rails hosting companies.
And you can read reviews about them.

Engine Y. rocks. They cost a bit more, but you get excellent
support from some top notch rails deployment experts. I haven’t had
any experience with Speedy Rails though…

Yeah, what Rick says! Engine Y.'s support is unexcelled, in my
experience.
