Hi,
is it possible to play Flash videos with GtkMozEmbed?
If I use the RubyZilla sample or the ruby-gecko.rb sample, Flash videos
aren’t played on YouTube, video.google etc. If I enter about:plugins in
the address bar, it tells me that there aren’t any plugins installed
even though I’ve got Firefox installed with Flash plugin. The Flash
plugin is in both /usr/lib/mozilla and /usr/lib/firefox.
I’m on Ubuntu Feisty Fawn if that helps and I use ruby-gnome from the
Ubuntu repository.
Do I have to do something to activate flash playback with GtkMozEmbed,
or is it just impossible to do so? If it’s impossible, is there an easy
way to open an address in the user’s standard webbrowser from within
Ruby?
Okay all done, I found out what was wrong. There seems to be a few
mistakes in the documentation, there was a missing “/” in a path, now it
works.

Hell i would be thrilled if i could just git GtkMozEmbed to work it just
segfaults for me.
