Application on a page

Hi People
I m a new Ruby-Rails User

I have an idea to develop, the idea is open an editor(like emacs) on a
web page…

I see googling around that rails provide some plugin and library for
example for the login session…

My question is if someone of you know some plugin or library to realize
my idea…

Also All kind of Hint are welcome…
