Is there a simple way to "monkey-patch" a Rails app to have RESTful URLs use "/" instead of ";" without having to use Edge Rails? Thanks!

Just declare a map.connect path for it in routes.rb before the map.resource line. You don't get the url-helper-goodness tho... b
