Forum: Ruby on Rails Problem installing gem mysql on vista

Hi, I'm hoping that someone can point me right direction on this one.

I'm trying execute gem install mysql & am getting the following error

C:\Users\matt>gem install mysql

 3. mysql 2.7 (ruby)

(continuing with the rest of the installation)

It looks like it installs the gem, but has problems with Rdoc. When I
try & execute rake, I get the following error:

(in C:/app/trunk)
rake aborted!
193: %1 is not a valid Win32 application.   -
