# Want to implement authetication of user id and password for my cms

Sure. RESTful\_authenication has been pretty popular for a while, but now  
the  
most popular authentican plugin appears to be “authlogic”. Either one  
should  
work, and being an OpenID guy myself, I have no idea which is better.
