# Uhd version

Hi,

I meet problems when I try to upgrade UHD to a version higher than  
3.7.6.1.

I follow these UHD installation instructions shown in the following  
link.

sudo bash -c 'echo "deb  
[http://files.ettus.com/binaries/uhd/repo/uhd/ubuntu/`lsb\_release](http://files.ettus.com/binaries/uhd/repo/uhd/ubuntu/%60lsb_release) -cs` `lsb\_release -cs`main" > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ettus.list' sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install -t`lsb\_release -cs` uhd

Then I check the version of installed UHD using the following command.  
It  
looks like that I have installed UHD 3.8.0.

$ dpkg -s uhd  
Package: uhd  
Status: install ok installed  
Priority: optional  
Section: devel  
Installed-Size: 133399  
Maintainer: Ettus R. [removed\_email\_address@domain.invalid](mailto:removed_email_address@domain.invalid)  
Architecture: amd64  
Version: 003.008.000-release  
Depends: libboost-all-dev  
Recommends: python, python-tk  
Description: Ettus R. - USRP Hardware Driver

However, when I run a flow graph, I get the following messages, which  
seems  
to suggest that I am running 3.5.5.0 instead of 3.8.0. Any tips on how  
to  
fix this problem? Thanks.

$ python top\_block.py  
linux; GNU C++ version 4.8.2; Boost\_105400; UHD\_003.005.005-0-unknown
