# :true not workin!

before reinstallin ubuntu…  
while checking condition for enum column i used :ture if it was (‘true’,  
‘false’)  
but as my system got formated…i installed ruby 1.8.6 and rails 1.1.6  
newly  
but now where all i user :true in condition its not workin…:0(  
can anyone help me please…

i have used like this  
if isa\_registration.user\_access!= :true  
status= " Rejected"  
else  
status= " Expired"  
end

but its not workin…  
help me please m tired solving this

i think the colon is the Problem:  
if isa\_registration.user\_access!= true  
status= “ Rejected”  
else  
status= “ Expired”  
end
