# Tagging gem (permalink support)

Hello,

I’ve been looking for a rails tagging gem that would support permalinks.

I’ve been using acts-as-taggable-on but it happens if I have tags with  
spaces or foreign letters it wont create clean permalinks so I’ve been  
thinking about extending it friendly\_id gem (that creates seo friendly,  
unique permalinks for rails models).

Has anyone done this before or does anyone know of any tagging gem that  
supports this?
