# Syntax error, unexpected END\_OF\_FIL E

Hi guys,

I’m new to IronRuby and I’m struggling to run my first test.  
I’m getting the following error message :

pricing\_scenarios\_for\_product\_x\_story.rb:32: syntax error, unexpected  
END\_OF\_FIL  
E, expecting END  
End  
^

When I try to run this script:

require ‘rubygems’  
require ‘spec/story’

steps\_for(:product\_x) do  
Given(“Product $productName at $price”) do |productName, price|  
pending “Need to complete implementation for accessing C# object”  
end  
When(“user requests a $amount user license”) do |amount|  
pending “Need to complete implementation for accessing C# object”  
end  
When(“this does not include support”) do  
pending “Need to complete implementation for accessing C# object”  
end  
Then(“the price should be $price”) do |price|  
pending “Need to complete implementation for accessing C# object”  
End  
end

with\_steps\_for(:product\_x) do  
run File.dirname( **FILE** ) + “/pricing\_scenarios\_for\_product\_x”  
end

Could you help me spot the error please. I’ve tried all sorts of thing  
without success.

Thanks Ivan. That solved my original problem. Now I have this new one:

C:/Program Files/IronRuby  
1.0/lib/ruby/site\_ruby/1.8/rubygems/custom\_require.rb:  
31:in `require': no such file to load -- spec/story (LoadError) from C:/Program Files/IronRuby 1.0/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8/rubygems/custo m_require.rb:31:in `require’  
from pricing\_scenarios\_for\_product\_x\_story.rb:2

Any ideas on this one? Thanks for your patience.
