Hi everyone,

I would like to know if, in the same way than a Gtk::Label [1], there
exists
a simple way to use html markup with Gtk::TextView.

I’ve been browsing the api reference and didn’t find any simple method.

Any idea?

Thanks,
Mathieu.

Seems that gtk developers don’t care of such a feature ☹

Thanks for your answer. I think that it is pity because every
application has to duplicate the same code. That’s a very common need.

I guess the Ruby-GNOME2 development policy is to stick to the GTK API
but I think it would be worth adding a small extention to the
Gtk::TextView class, at least in samples/.
