Sending a gmail using ruby

Heart of a Dog - Wikipedia -=- “Just another dog on
the
internet.”

Actually, by law, it’s only spam if you can’t unsubscribe from it. which
is
the problem I am having right now. My emails are super-easy to
unsubscribe
from , and I always unsubscribe people who ask.

If I need a PhD in Computer Science to unsubscribe, there is a problem
with
your website, not me. Wouldn’t you rather just unsubscribe me so I
can’t
mess up your great threads (not that I really want

to bother anyone).

Not really. There are several people who can’t unsubscribe and are
trying to, right now. The instructions do not work.

Yes, they do. As demonstrated by several people over the years.

Oh look! It works fine!

By the way, I’ll bet you $50 bucks that my IQ is 50 points higher than
yours. lol

Wow. You really are an amazing douche. Keep up the good work.

Can any of that brain power be spared to answer this question:

Hi,
I’m hoping someone can help me out with the unsubscribe process. I have
sent (many times) an email to [email protected] with
“unsubscribe” and/or “# unsubscribe” in the body. Each time I get back
this confirmation request (below). When I reply to it (I’ve tried
replying with “unsubscribe”, “# unsubscribe”, and with nothing at all) I
get a lengthy email in reply saying that my email has no effective
commands, etc.

And then I keep getting more emails from the mailing list.

I’ve also tried unsubscribing from
Mailing Lists but all I get is a
page that says “405 Not Allowed - nginx/0.7.67”

Thanks,
Matthew

Same here. SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM…

I can score a 150 on an IQ test drunk and blindfolded, but I can’t
unsubscribe yet, either. I must be stupid.

Try connecting first. That works for me.

require ‘highline/import’
require ‘gmail’

password = ask("Password: ") { |q| q.echo = “*” }

@gmail = Gmail.connect(“[email protected]”, password)

email = @gmail.compose do
to “[email protected]
subject “blah blah blah”
body “blah blah blah”
end

@gmail.deliver(email)
@gmail.logout

just for info: the above code works for me, with my name off course:)
