I’m trying to use rubyscript2exe on there website,
[http://www.erikveen.dds.nl/rubyscript2exe/index.html](http://www.erikveen.dds.nl/rubyscript2exe/index.html) it says that it can
also compile for Linux and Mac. I’m really trying to have this done by
next
Friday (so a week from today) Can anyone help me out? I’ve e-mailed the
person incharge of the app to but who knows if he checks
removed\_email\_address@domain.invalid 😕

it still comes out as an exe even when I config it like the site said.
I’ll
go ahead and try to re-config it I’ll post in like two minutes if it
works.
(I don’t think it will)

On linux, running

rubyscript2exe foo.rb

generates a file called foo\_linux (which is the all-in-one executable).
That’s my experience anyway.

Are you getting a .exe file? Does it have execute permissions? What
happens when you try to run that file on linux?

Okay I’ll try to see if I can get someone if Linux to run it and see if
it
works out correctly

Thanks for the help,
