# Restful question

So I have an index.html.erb form and I’m trying to link it to an email  
form I created. I used the link below:

\<%= link\_to ‘Email us’, contact\_number\_path %\>

now I believe the layout is something like this:

\<%= link\_to ’ Email us’ , contact\_number\_path %\>  
link on the page name of form to link to? following by  
the path in the route.rb file?

When I run it I get the following error

undefined local variable or method `contact\_number\_path’ for  
#ActionView::Base:0x39ab264
