I’m having a problem getting the restful\_authentication plugin
installed: [GitHub - technoweenie/restful-authentication: inactive project](http://github.com/technoweenie/restful-authentication), and
wonder if anyone was able to get it installed.

Thanks.

Do you think I need to use “git”. But, how can I use “git” with mac os
x?

Thanks.

I would advise not to use that, it is not considered the best any more
as it generates lots of difficult to maintain code in your app. Try
Authlogic instead.

Try [mac git - Google Search](http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=&q=mac+git)

Thanks Colin.

I have been playing with Authlogic. I tried the Railscasts tutorial but
doesn’t work with me at some point.

But, I’ll see what happens, and true, I found that most now are talking
about Authlogic.

Thanks.
