# Render\_componont and flash\[:notice\]

Hi,

When I install [http://github.com/lackac/render\_component/tree/rails-edge](http://github.com/lackac/render_component/tree/rails-edge)  
all my flash[:notice] do not appear on www.

I don’t know why 😕

Any ideas?

This only happens when there is a redirect after the flash[:notice] was  
setup.  
If I uninstall render\_component everything acts as usual, flash messages  
work.

The quick-fix is to comment the line:  
flash.sweep if @\_session && !component\_request?
