# Problam when installing rails

hi, i am installed ruby 1.86 in vista operating system, after installing  
ruby i tried to install rails with the following command

gem install rails -v 2.0.5

but it gives the following error

ERROR: [http://gems.rubyforge.org/](http://gems.rubyforge.org/) does not appear to be a repository  
ERROR: could not find gem rails locally or in a repository

can anyone tell me how to installl this in vista operating system

most probably your internet connection has timedout. try again.

my internet is connected, when i was using windows 2007, i got it right  
but when it comes to vista it gives the problems like these, can anyone  
give me the suggestions to get it correctly…
