I’m already familiar with wice\_grid for doing simple sorting &
filtering, but I’d like the same functionality but with full-text
search (everyone seems to be recommending Thinking or UltraSphinx so
let’s stay with that I guess).

Ideally someone would know how to get ThinkingSphinx + wice\_grid to
play happy together, but without a serious dive into the wice\_grid
plugin that doesn’t seem possible. Anyone have any ideas? Or is
everyone rolling their own by hand? In a perfect world I wouldn’t
have to use different plugins for my “normal” grid & full text search
results grid.
