PHP files in myapp/public question

I am running mongrel and put some php code in myapp/public, but for some
reason they are being treated as html instead of being evaluated by the
php interpreter. What do I need to do to get these files treated
properly?

imho mongrel is an app server for rails, not a general-pupose-webserver.
possibly you should ask this question to the mongrel list?

You have to run apache, but I’d contact the php folks about getting this
to work. I don’t do much PHP these days.
