hello,

I’ve got a lot of trouble with PacketFu (from
[Google Code Archive - Long-term storage for Google Code Project Hosting.](http://code.google.com/p/packetfu/)).All I wanted to do was a bit of network
sniffing but everytime I want to use packetfu I get this message:

> [@](#):
>
> irb(main):001:0\> require ‘packetfu’
> Errno::EBADF: Bad file descriptor
> from C:/Programme/ruby/lib/ruby/site\_ruby/1.8/packetfu/write.rb:82:in
> `write’
> #this happens if i call a specific file, but still the
> irb(main):002:0\> require ‘packetfu/capture’
> =\> true

I got Winpcap(version 4.0.2) installed and can sniff with wireshark
without problems.

Now I’d like to know why it isn’t working and how to fix it(is this
problem winXP specific, a common problem on windows ?)

if anyone has experienced similiar problem( and found a solution) please
tell me

thanks in advance
