PLEASE HELP!!!
I just did my first installation of ruby on rails. When I go to
[www.mysite.com](http://www.mysite.com) I get the following error:

We’re sorry, but something went wrong.

We’ve been notified about this issue and we’ll take a look at it
shortly.

# ===================================== config/routes.rb: … map.root :controller =\> “home” map.connect ‘:controller/:action/:id’ map.connect ‘:controller/:action/:id.:format’ end

httpd.conf:
…
ProxyRequests off

\<VirtualHost \*:80\>
ServerName [mysite.com](http://mysite.com)
ServerAlias www. [mysite.com](http://mysite.com)

```
ProxyPass / http://www. mysite.com:8000/
ProxyPassReverse / http://www. mysite.com:8000
ProxyPreserveHost on
```

check your error log file

if there’s nothing in the logs, update your enviroment.rb to enable all
logging, re-deploy and try again, and check the logs again.

that error is just a friendly error. the actual error with debug is in
the logs.
