MySQL not Connected ...... *pull hair*

I have the same problem. At the first time I used libmysql.dll file from
my XAMPP directory but the problem still appears. Then I replace the
file from the one from your link and it works flawlessly.

This is my second day I’m trying installed Rails and this post just made
me realize how lucky I am.
