Hi,

When compiling modsec, I came across the following -

“configure: WARNING: APR util was not compiled with crypto support.
SecRemoteRule will not support the parameter ‘crypto’”

Basically the rhel6 apr-devel rpm does not have crypto support. Trying
to
determine what are the ramifications are here.

Might anyone know what this means? Am having difficulty finding what
this
SecRemoteRule is.

Thanks

Hi,

It should not be a problem.

The parameter “crypto” is optional and should not affect ModSecurity
behavior.

Check the SecRemoteRules description on ModSecurity reference manual,
